Does not update – shows "data unavailable"

Some devices running iOS 6, experiencing problems when updating the weather data or finding the current location. Mostly resulting in the error message »data unavailable«

In most cases, the following approach solves the problems: 

1. Delete the app 
2. Reinstall it (through the App Store) ›more details
3. During the first run, do NOT skip the tutorial, and add your location on the last slide of the tutorial.

We are working on an update to solve this (without the need for the work-around described above).
